The Nortech PS224B uninterruptible Power Supply employs a universal switch mode power pack that provides power to the circuitry from the primary input supply. This input supply is fused and isolated from the system and operates at 230V AC (±10%). The power supply provides a charging system to maintain a small lead acid battery, which will continue to supply power to the Rack in the event of the primary input supply being lost. This uninterruptible power supply has a dual output arrangement to deliver the required power to the system. These outputs are fully protected against short circuit conditions by current limiting.
